DevClock Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-29
DevClock is designed as a local-first darkroom timer. The app does not require an account, does not include advertising, does not use third-party analytics SDKs, and does not track users across apps or websites.
Data collection
DevClock does not collect personal data from the app.
The app stores preferences and user-created timer/process settings locally on your device. Examples include language choice, timer preferences, custom process plans, vibration settings, screen-awake preference, and red mode preference. This information is used only to make the app work as expected and is not sent to the developer or to third parties by the app.
Notifications and Live Activities
DevClock may request permission to send local notifications so timers and process reminders can alert you while the app is in the background or your device is locked.
DevClock may also use Live Activities to show timer status on supported iOS devices. Timer information used for notifications and Live Activities is handled locally by the app and iOS.
Contacting support
If you choose to contact support by email, your email address and any information you include in the message will be visible to the developer through your email provider. This information is used only to respond to your request.
Third-party services
DevClock does not use third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or data broker services.
Children
DevClock is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
This privacy policy may be updated when DevClock changes. If the policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
